Inspired by a misreading of a Freddy's Burger advertisement, ChompHaus is a semi-regular, esoteric, themed dinner party that I host. I love to cook and sharing that love with others, so I decided to create a dinner party that asks guests to choose a part of a dinner to bring and cook everything at my house.

Each item must adhere to that party's theme and a winner is voted on at the end of the night. This "Chompion" then gets to "spin the smorgasboard" to decide the next theme. Yes, they are awarded the "Chompion's Belt".

After hosting ChompHaus for 2 years, it got a little tiring to constantly use a variety of apps and websites to manage the event. I decided to create an app that would allow me to manage the event and share it with others. The app would allow users to create and manage their own ChompHaus events, invite guests, and keep track of who is bringing what. It would also have a feature for voting on the best dish and a leaderboard for the Chompions.

Design and development are currently underway, with my friend John working on development and me being the sole designer for the brand and app. We're currently developing user flows in Figma, but hope to have a workable, low fidelity prototype by the end of the year. I'll be sharing progress updates here as often as I can.
